We went out again for some more racing, little different this time. Slo_lt1 cut off his flowmaster and jcobra99 was shifting at 6500. I didn't have the LS6 intake on yet either.

In a few of the races, I couldn't hear the honks, so I just went when they hit it. You can tell which those are. 1st race I hit the clutch back in cause I thought I missed 4the but didnt.

:lol: I just made a video of me pulling the brake booster to see if it would fool any of my friends. All we did was an LS6 intake this weekend. Don't say anything though, should be good for some laughs. :)

Isn't it crazy?! The thing is better than the camcorder our other friend bought. My LS6 intake really woke the car up. I now spin hard at the top of first, where I didn't before, and even a good amount into 2nd. Can't wait to go to the track next tuesday. If the air is good, I'm hoping to get deep in the 12s.

Oh, and I have another LS6 intake i am buying from a friend and posting up here for sale if you or jimmy wants to buy it (didn't see it in his mods list).

I do have a Ls6 intake. That i believe is the one single mod that was on my car before i got it. I tend forget about it since i didn't put it there lol. If i didn't have one now i would buy one asap because i would be held back quite a bit with a ls1 intake.

We have just been busy down here with peoples cars not running and getting fixed so havent really had time to drive out there with a big group. Hopefully we can soon. We are looking into buying a gallon or 2 of that pimpjuice stuff to prep some spots.

Yea only reason we were rolling is because with my bad master i cant launch it lol.That will be fixed very soon though.

Yeah I prefer digs as well, but with nate(slow lt1)'s bad master its kind of pointless.

have em baseline dyno it before the tune, thena gain after the tune. also, you will def feel it pick up better and the power curves will be broader.

It was a street tune, no need to waste an extra $200 just to see some numbers. It definitely feels smoother.

Didn't get it dyno tuned, just a street tune (just driving around data logging and smoothing). I only drove it 30 minutes home, but it feels like "crisp" throttle response, tip in, and still runs harddd at WOT. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone with any setup. He's done it all, from stock cars to boosted to n2o and all in between. Real nice guy too.


His C6Z is nastyyyyyyyyyyyyy though. When my friend uploads the idle vid I'll post it or something, but here's him racing a turbo ls1. Dude can tune for sure.

No, I meant my tune was $200, a dyno tune was $425+ around here. No point in getting it dyno'd with just bolt-ons.

Oh ok gotcha that sux about the cost though I got mine dyno tuned for 250

DSteck from STLSR, he works for Pur too though. Cool guy, and liek I said, he's done everything frmo stock to cammed to boosted so I'd recommend him for sure.
