Default Anthony Peck #3, 2-3 months later, recieved junk ls1 block, need refund

Alright...this is not going to work. This is the 3rd post about waiting to recieve an ls1 block from Anthony Peck from Kentucky finally got it and its ruined...

Please refer to my old posts on it:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/negative-trader-feedback/125050-anythony-peck-louisville-ky-never-sent-me-ls1-block.html

plus another after it a month later where i still hadnt gotten it.

Anthony Peck
8415 damascus rd.
Louisville, ky 40228
cell# 502-235-3024
home# 502-239-6573

The block showed up today Fedex, The block was packaged in a single layer of cardboard only, which was completely torn off and destroyed. The block has obviously been damaged/dinged from shipping. The aluminum being dented and smacked in several places would lead me to believe that it has no chance of being useable.

The block showed up with NO main caps.

The block literarally was so discolored/spotted/pitted like it has been in the ocean for the last year or so. All of the cylinders were completely rusted to the point where i wouldnt think a .010 hone would have a chance of recovering the cylinders. throughout the block inside its badly corroded...
Very unusable to me...

I think this block was left out side for a very long period of time and must have been rained on.

Ill need a full refund on it sent to me for the $400

Payable to:

Letoy Motorsport
3901 Wible Rd #2
Bakersfield, CA, 93309

Please inform me on what day youll be shipping payment back. If after 5 buisness days i dont recieve it back, ill go ahead and file charges with the financial crimes detective i spoke to in KY a few times when the block didnt show up before.

What the hell is wrong with people like that. Even if the block started out ok, YOU DON'T SHIP A BLOCK IN A CARD BOARD BOX. Is the world just full of morons?

C4VetteLS1 posted a WTB: LS1 block post and Anthony called up C4VetteLS1 offering his block for sale.

There was never a written post of the blocks description here on LS1Tech by Mr. Peck, I searched.

Default ......

This is Anthony Peck posting from a friend's name. I have been trying to get ls1tech to send me my forgotten password but I never get the emails. As far as the situation ther were alot of cercumstances that the buyer failed to leave out.

Not only did we loose each others contact info, he told me that ups would ship the block for $50, I took it to them and they gave me quotes of $120-$150. So next he asked me to try fed-ex, I did and they told me the block was too big for ground shipping. Then I packaged up the block the way fed-ex suggested me to, big 6 ply box, plywood cut to fit the bottom, and then tied the block to the plywood. It was sturdy, and they told me it would be no problem. I also paid to have the package insured. I cant help it if they decided to run into it with a fork lift or whatever they did to it, I havent recieved it back yet.
I guess u also assumed that I had the mains, bacause u never asked for them, not once. You also told me that the block would be resleaved and I told you the cylinders had surface rust, due to sitting in my shed(covered.
I will file a claim with them and get u the money a.s.a.p..If I had the money I would have already sent it to you. Why do you talk to me on the phone and then post these things on the interet, I thought that you are supposed to post up when something isnt getting taken care of. I believe I talked to u about this situation before the post was made and I told u I would get the money to u. Dont make me out to be the bad seller, u havent done much to help by getting ur panties in a wad and crying to people on the internet. You have sent emails to over 5 of my friends about this situation but only called my cell phone # (which I posted)twice. I WILL SEND YOU YOUR MONEY WHEN I GET IT FROM FED-EX,(IF THAT TAKES ANY LONGER THAN A COUPLE WEEKS) THEN I WILL SEND U THE MONEY OUT OF MY TAX RETURN. Thanks

I hope this is resolved soon.

FYI I would never buy a block without main caps I would assume that they would come with the block.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that it was an innocent un-knowledgeable mistake to not include the main caps and not know they were suppposed to be there.

Also yes fedex looks like they drug it down the street with a truck. But the block wasnt just surface rust. It looks like it was used for bait on a deepsea salt water fishing trip in the ocean for a few months. Highly unacceptable.

I will recieve payment from you by 2/20/04 on which date i will finish filing charges and i will also file small claims court papers here. Fedex's damage is not my problem, and either is waiting on the money. You shouldnt spend the money before the product is recieved.
thanks
