Default help with pushrod lenght and help to calculate compression

hey guys i have a set of patriot stage 2 heads the ls6 style 035 casting with the 59 cc chambers i had to get them milled .006 cause they had some real minor scratches on the surface im also going to put ls7 lifters and im using the stock 5.7 gm mls gaskets.

is the .006 going to affect compression and ptv cleareance?

should i use a shorter pushrod i have 7.400 right now but im thinking of going with 7.300?

im going with a lg g5x1 cam 228/232 588/571 on a 114

i would really like to run a bigger cam but idunno if im going to have ptv cleareance issues

i like the street sweaper and the f14 but if u can recommend me a good one go for it lol

You will have to measure PR length for sure...

I don't think the x1 will clear at 59cc either (unless they are the old welded chambers) so definitely measure that......

035 casting isn't an ls6 head. The 243/799 are ls6 castings. You dont guess at pushrod length, you measure. Plain and simple.

No don't edit it, I was trying to clarify what heads you were talking about. I'm guessing they are 5.3s. The more we know, the more we can help you
