Pontiac Firebird 1967-2002 - Odd ball piece-rear hatch shock abs. latch

Looking for:

The two small latches that the two rear hatch lift-shocks come out of (they have two screws throught them) these are the latches that are actually bolted thru the body of the car.

I'd like to know if anyone knows the part number, where I could find it OR if GM even offers new ones?

I think GM included them with what they call hinges. Part number 14 here. Looks like they're no longer availble. You'll need to go to a junkyard.

Interesting. I know the pic above isn't detailed but they are much smaller than that. Simply put. Maybe I'll take a pic of them to show people.

Again, its kind off odd but it doesnt surprise me. The reason i'm questioning it is because in real life, it's just the little hinge alone. Goldish/silver in color, about 2 inches in lenght.....
