2010 Camaro V6 MSRP is just under 22,680 and its a 6 spd.
http://www.chevrolet.com/camaro/

2010 camaro SS (option 2) is 34,300 6spd..

so my question is..has anybody bought a V6 camaro and went forged internals and done a twin turbo or single turbo set up and spent less $$ to make more power? just an idea....

If you want to be one of the few with a twin turbo v6 gen 5, then yeah.

But being cost affective, the v8 is always will have more bang for the buck.
v6 + forged internals build + turbo = $$ > ss price.

Exactly. And you have to remember, when you do that you throw your powertrain warranty straight out the window. So if something blows (always a possibility when you're building high horsepower aftermarket F/I engines) you will have to foot the bill to rebuild/replace.

Also the V6 has an Aisin-Warner 6 speed instead of the Tremec TR6060 used in the SS. Its not a strong or a unit.

Its a cool concept, but don't limit your budget to the price difference between the V6 and SS for the build.
