Default did i get the right cable?



the USB port and the OBDII thingy look okay(the obdII thingy is full of pins and i thought it only needed a few) but there is a bug clunky thing where they connect in the middle

did i get the right cable?


this is for a 1995 pontiac formula (LT1)

i believe that you bought the obdII scanner from aldl. thats what it looks like at least. your pcm is obdI unless you converted. with the right software it MIGHT work. someone else might chime in with a more solid answer

yeah, but the problem with using an obd II scan tool is that Obd i and obd ii communicate using different protocols. if the scan tool in the middle between the cords acts like a bridge it will work. you follow?
