Mail order tune

Mail order tune
I wanted to ask what kind of results I can expect on a mail order tune, on a 98 Z28 with just a lid. I know that I should wait to have more bolt ons etc, but here is the thing I live in CA, so I know I am going to stick with stock exhaust, and more than likely the only other mods I will do to the car is a P&P TB with a LS6 intake manifold. So for now I wanted to see the overall results I can expect. I would really appreciate it.

"Is it worth it to have my stock car/truck tuned?
Factory vehicles are calibrated very conservatively and without (to an extent) performance in mind. Stock vehicles really wake up with minor adjustments to ignition timing, fueling, transmission torque management (if an automatic) and a few other items. These items and more (specific things like speedo fixes from larger tires or gears) are all a part of a Basic tune or a mail order tune. "
I got this from the Tuned by Frost website. Hope this helps.
I am also intrested in what type of results people have gotten in the past.

Frost is the way to go. I'd still hold out for the TB and intake though...
I noticed after my mail order tune the car seemed more together. easier to take off and more responsive and driveable. nice power increase, plus the safety of mind knowing i'm not going to melt a piston or something.

I understand that I could wait to the a couple of mods and then tune it, but I want to primarly see if anyone has had any before and after on just a stock LS1. Are we looking at a tenth or two tenths in the quarter mile, what would be the expected results?
Edit
Just bought the car, already took it to my nearest track.
Ran a 9.1@80mph 2.2 60 ft
So I am just trying to get an idea. 60 ft sucked, because of bad tires, and BAD DRIVER
