!air little tube lookin piece

!air little tube lookin piece So after i removed the air system on my z, i got to the end and found a little tube. one end goes to the saucer thing and the other to a sensor lookin box. what do i do with this? its runs fine with it just hanging there. should i plug the end with a q tip or sumthin?
oh and i did look all over here. thats how i found out that the late 00-02 air was different than the write up in this forum for a 98-early 00 air. i didnt realize this until i started pulling on the hoses behind the manifold and found the alien carrying saucer on a bracket that was bolted to the back of the drivers side head.
btw still no ses light....
