Default Check out these TBs !!

I did a search on this and came up with Zero. Does anyone have any info/knowledge of this setup???

A few of the guys "Down Under" are running this .

8 Individual TBs and 2 separate manifolds - as far as I can tell. Sweet. FWIW.

From the license plate, I would say thats Plan B's car, a member of this board. Maybe he can help you out.

I have actually heard about running 8 individual throttle bodies but it was vague at best in context. It sounds like an interesting idea but I haven't seen anything in person or heard any testimonials. What kinda of gains do you think this would produce? And how exactly would that work?

Seems like a short intake tract...guess it would be mean at higher Rs. But only a guess.

That is a Kinsler Fuel Injection System. I am used to seeing them on the C5-R motors but that’s what it is.

Some Pics
Sorry, tough to see, but that’s them on a C5R motor, and the intake by itself.

Orion Development (?) is the manufacturer I believe.

BMW uses individual cylinder bore throttle plates on the M3 engine, I believe.

I like the tapered runners.

Biggest hassle for the street is cost and getting all of them to seal well enough for a decent idle. These look like mechanical throttle linkage. TBW should be easier. BMW does that.

I suppose you should put on some sort of airbox and filter for street usage. Sure would spoil the neat look.

That car is definatly running a MAF less tune. That car does look like a Holden and the Aussies are getting really good at the MAF less thing. Beautiful setup, I have a buddy that's running a Kinser Injection setup on his 10 sec Chevelle Bracket car, I don't know if he is running any faster with the new setup, but the look is great.

Hi guys from Australia.

My car is tuned at the same workshop as PlanB's.... SAMS PERFORMANCE

http://www.samsperformance.com/

I have been for a ride in his car and its truly awesome.... When it had stock manifold just heads and cam it could spin into 3rd gear.

Now it has a 427 stroker, 8TB, big cam and full tubs and slicks.

The mafless tune on my HSV is definately better than what I see coming out of the USA. I think Sam could teach your tuner's a thing or two. The 8TB setups idle almost like stock except for the lumpy cam noise. Truly Wicked when they rev.

If you guys have any other aussie questions buzz me.
