10 Second Club - finallly got it.

Well, only have been to the track 3 time this year. Was hopin for the 10 n/a, but with temps unusually hot for Oct. (90* air temp) it wasnt happening. Did run a 11.2 @122 n/a. Then hit it with a 75 shot and ran 10.79 at 129.84.

I know that a 402 with all the good stuff I have in mine should trap better, but I think with good air it will see 124 or 125 n/a. It is a 3800lb full street car. Full ws6 interior, 6point bar, subframes, factory k member, full A/C and hvac, bags, ect. The only things out of the car are the egr, and anti lock brake moudule. I seem to just keep adding stuff to make it heavy. This winter it may go on a small diet. Also dont really have "drag suspension" kyb 8 ways all around. Did remove the front sway and put the drag bar on for the track.

nice times for a heavy car. diets are good for car got my vette coupe down to 3024 or so with cage and a bottle in back 1/4 tank gas

Congrats on the runs, too bad you can't make it out this weekend. Looking at a high of 70*!

Got a setup similar to urs. Ive only hit the 10's once on motor and that was last fall. On average my runs are usually 11.1's at between 121 and 123 mph. I'm about to hit mine with a 150 shot and hoping for 10.20's or better.

Am hoping for 10s on motor next year. I realized that my shifting leaves little to be desired after looking at the tapes. I am sure the car has it in it.
