ssf 3500 or ssf 3800 I want to install it for my 2.73 geared car I don't want to change gear ratios cuz I drive 100 freeway miles everyday but I go to the track at least 1 a month

if you rock street tires with that 2.5STR 'verter , well even with 2.73's i'd be careful. I've got the 3.42's since i rock 2 miles of city driving to work every day lol.
245 nitto 555R's cant hold any less than 30mph. Im looking to move up to 315's for street use. Obviously you probably don't rock out to nitto's with 100 miles per day, that would mean several sets of rear tires per year
The 'verter hits real f'ing hard. Like 3800rpm's from a dead stop (stab and steer) is what the tci ssf 3500 is about. It will lockup so your mpg should be identical cept for the city driving.
IE same MPG highway, 9-12mpg city (unlocked).
I think i got 120 miles to 14 gallons last fill up since my lockup is at 50mph and i can't go that fast (30mph speed limit). Cold start has alot to with the poor mpg too. Having to warm up the car and running in cold start enrichment dont help a bit.
p.s. i have EFILIVE logs, and i've seen 4800 rpm shift extensions shifting at 5705 and 6189rpm rpm's both times. Peak 6189 rpm's was at 103mph with 3.42's. The gear does raise your rpm's a bit. 300-400 rpm's @70mph with 3.42s from 2.73's.
But at the track i think it might be worth it, and on the street , well its plain stupid

true but 555R's at about half their life aren't very safe in rain. Half the life of a 555R is like 5000 miles. given some track time in there.
How much life you seeing out of your nitto's, that include being able to safely drive in torrential rain?
I'm curious cause i might be stepping up to the more expensive 315's soon. I'll waste my old nitto's first.
Tire's aren't very good if they aren't safe in the rain on a rwd car. ASR ain't gonna save ur butt going around a corner if theres not enough bite left on the tire eh?
