Default New to American Muscle and need some advice.

Lets start off with the car, I have a 2005 CTS-V with the LS6, I use to be big into the import scene and wanted to change things up a little. I am interested in a stroker kit, I was looking at the lunati 427 stroker... go big or go home in my opinion.

when doing a stroker kit at what point do i need to sleeve the motor?

I want to keep the car somewhat streetable it won't be a daily driver but it would be nice to take it for a weekend trip.

when doing the stroker kit i was going to just get a fast 102mm intake an tb, any other suggestions? but i was going to run the same h/c until more money came in.

If there is a better stroker kit or size i am opinion to suggestions.
Thank you in advance

You can do a 383 from your LS6, but if you want more, then spend $1400 for a new bare LS3 block, have it bored and honed to 4.125", then add a 4" stroke. That'll get you 427.7 cubic inches. You could do a 4.125" stroke and be around 454 cubes. Doing an LS2 at 4.020 x 4.125 will make a 419, and only save you about $300.

If i were to do the 454, would i still be able to get 6500-7000rpm?
