Default Ls2 cam in ls1?

Hey everyone, i was wondering if you can put an ls2 cam out of a trailblazer ss into a ls1... i know they have different sensor locations, just wondering thanks

yes it will work, but may not be worth your time since its really not much bigger than stock. A zo6 vette cam would be a better option if you wanted to stay close to stock, but if you don't mind the time you can swap cams.

well, i picked up this ls2 out of a trail blazer ss and i plan on going threw all its internals.. so there all spare parts... and i have a 99 trans am with some lifter tap... so i was planning on swapping springs, cam , and lifters

I read on here somewhere that 05-07 LS2 Vette cam has the same specs as the 02-04 LS6 cam. I have been meaning to go back and find that thread.....

Yes, shouldn't have any issues doing a swap. I've got an extra TBSS cam if you need another one.

Someone told me that the two cams were different... bc of the placement of the cam sensors
