12 Second Club - Went 12.56@111.5 not alot done.......

Well went to the track the other day and ran a 12.56 @ 111.....
Vehicle is a 98 Z28 A4 with 185k
Mods are:
Ls1 Intake
Pacesetter headers LT
3" Y-Pipe (no muffler)
ASP underdrive Pulley
P&P TB
3.23 stock 10 bolt
Weight Reductions 3300lbs with me in it
This run was on Street tires also.
NO STALL
NO CAM

Wow! Beat my best with similar mods.

Not bad I have 180k on mines with the same mods except the UD pulley, what did you remove from weight??

Ok, weight reductions are:
No Carpet
No Door Bars
No Plastic Interior Pieces
No Seats (just driver "leather")
No Front or rear bumpers
No Center Console
No T-top holders
No A/C Comp, Bracket, Condenser
No A.I.R, EGR, Traction Control, Cruise Control
No Heat Shields
No Catback, just 3" y-pipe with no muffler= LOUD

This is my only car and I drive it everyday to work, plus I only paid $700 for the whole car so I dont mind hacking up a few things.....

That car is lite w/ all that stuff taken out.If my car was that lite i would be running mid to low 11's.

I ran a very similar time with very similar mods! Awesome! We have great times for our cars. My car is also a my summer daily driver. You dont need mufflers for a street car. Surprisingly my car is not that loud for the street... as long as im not into the throttle...

I would say about 250lbs

LOL, how do you like those 3.73 gears.....Thinking about getting some and a 3600 yank, I think with those two things i can hit a 11.99

I like my gears ... I just need to get my 15 inch rims to put my slicks on. I'm tired of spinning my tires off the start and blowing the tires when i hit 2nd.

baby burn out . slicks completly aired up . nice slow launch at around 2k .. street car drove it to the track 200mile trip didnt wanna grenade the rear end and have to tow it home .. will go back on a trailor and slicks soon ..

Congrats ! Not bad at all . Your times are simular to mine .I only have a stall and gears ,compltely stock motor down to the manifolds and all . Full weight and went 12.53 in 82* heat . Put a stall and some tires on it youll be in the 11's .. or real close !!
