Default Timing cover question....

Any chance a gen 4 timing cover can be made to work on a gen 3 engine, so you can use the newer style cam with the cam sensor in the front cover?

I'm asking to figure out if a VVT conversion to an LS1 is even possible.

Sure, I don't see why not. You'd probably have to plug the old cam sensor location in the block as well.

I posted this question too soon. Not only can it be done, it seams SDPP sell the parts you need to convert and everything
