Vibration after cam swap

Default Vibration after cam swap

I just fired her up after I swaped the cam I went from stock to ls6 and now when I give it throttle bout thousand rpm it shakes the stering wheel not heavy shake but very fast shake definatly there not shure if that's normal or not but after I let off it stops anyone know anything bout this is it normal it's a pretty good vibration I changed to the yellow springs and changed pushrods I know thers been alot of threads bout pushrod length latly but I measured mine so should be correct now my tranny (A4) has been comin apart but didn't vibrate befor am I just bein paranoid?

That was a really long sentence. Maybe it is making the entire car shake? Cams tend to do that at low rpm.

Na brosif not that kind of shake. It's a vibration it may be the cam. Or it may have something to do with the chunks of old springs I found on the drain plugg. Il figure it out...

mine has had that vibration ever since i did poly tranny mount. at about 1200 rpm it makes a slight vibration that you can see in the steering wheel. it did this before i put in the cam and its the same after the cam too. so either you have a broken tranny or motor mount or you have the poly stuff
