My new 2011 Ford Mustang GT / CS
Here is my new car. I have put on 3300KM in 1 month since I purchased it. As you can tell the GT /CS decal was removed. I purchased the C&L intake and really noticed a good power increase through out the power band. Future mods will include exhaust, tune, aluminum drive shaft, 3:73 gears, Steeda suspension package and I have not decided on rims yet. Just to note I ran it stock last week at the track a horrible 2.165 60 foot 107MPH 13.5 1/4 mile at 5900 ft altitude. With a few mods and good tires this thing is going to be a pure beast.
I still have my GXP and have not decided yet if I will sell it. I have had a few bites but know one serious yet. Funny thing is my car only has 63,000KM and all my mods and I have it priced less then allot of GXP's in my market but not many bites.

Far as comfort of ride etc to be quite honest and not being bias the Mustang blows away the GXP in ride comfort in cabin the car is really quiet. The handling is way better also.

I am in love with the new 5.0. I just watched Horse power TV, dyno the new coyote engine with some Ford engineers. All stock it put down 465hp, with a redline of 7300RPM. Ford, said that the motor can run that RPM all day.
The 5.0 is supposed to run 12's stock so keep practicing!

Obviously someone from the stang forum hacked one of our members account so make it sound really good.... Can we get AG in here to fix this?
I do have to admit, in the right color, some of these look great.
I hate to admit it, but ive always thought they sounded really great too.

Thanks guys!
Of course you cannot compare it to a GXP but man is this car fun. One thing that really impresses me about the 2011 is the difference compared to the 2010 Mustangs etc. Very very smooth ride and the transmission you do not even feel the shifts between gears. I have a friend who has a 2010 Camero SS and he will not race me I have raced a 2010 BMW M3, Audi S4 and the Mustang has walked them pretty good.
I am really looking at FR 500 black rims or Eleanor rims for the car.

Just curious, what makes the GT/CS any different that a regular 5.0? I know the older ones had specific rims and a hood scoop plus the side body stripe.
Nice ride BTW!

Along with the return of the iconic 5.0, the 2011 The GT/CS will feature an aggressive matte black front chin spoiler underneath a horizontal bar grill with a galloping thoroughbred off to the right side. Signature GT-CS side stripes leading back to a set of side scoops identifying the car as a California Special, meanwhile out back the Mustang GT has a GT500 style diffuser and a larger spoiler on the blacked out deck lid. The Mustang GT-CS rides on a set of 10 spoke two tone alloy wheels branded with the GT logo and the inside will feature a few new trim options as well.
