I will probably mostly be a lurker, but figured I should introduce myself first.
I have a 2002 Mazda Miata that needs more cylinders, I plan to give those to it this winter.
I don't really have any experience with LS motors, but that's why I'm here. I am not really picky about what motor I use, so long as it's aluminum and fits under the hood, so I'm just watching the classifieds while I'm learning to see what comes up. I have pretty modest goals of 350whp, which seem to be pretty easy on any of these. I won't be disappointed with more horsepower, of course, as long as I don't lose that awesome reliability.
I added a turbo on my last miata, and that was a lot of fun, but I want more torque this time, and I want it to be as reliable as a stock miata. An LS(x) swap should accomplish both of these goals nicely.
I'm not really sure what else I should put in here, but I'll put more as I think of it I guess.
