After running consistent 13.0X all night i pretty much gave up, parked the car and was getting ready to leave. Temp was great around 45 degrees, drove my buddies car and decided after letting mine cool down i would try one more time and i'll be damned 12.97 @ 106 i think thats good considering mods. what you guys think?

Cool, that is very similar to my times. Your elevation is about 1000ft lower than mine and your temps were a little better, but I also have a few more mods so it looks like you right about where you should be. Congrats on getting 12's!

What kind of tires are u running? I cut a 1.85 with a 245/55/16 goodyear eagles last night. I put the tire pressure down to 23 psi and foot braked it on the line to about 1700. Try lowering the rear tire pressure.

yeah i was dreding the headers and ory but it wasnt bad at all, just hate the way the y hits the floor

1Bad97WS-6
10-25-2010, 10:29 PM
might need to adjust the Y. I had the dealership put a new cat onmy car while it was still under warrenty I thought they might of broke a motor while they drove it 20+ miles while having it. But they said they just adjusted the Y/exhaust or put poly motor mounts on your car.. Your car have high mileage

yeah everyone says you have to do motormounts anytime you use a pacesetter ory. theres really no way to adjust the slipover.

I got a 1.85 60' just last friday on stock stall, goodyear eagle street tires (23 psi), stock 3.23's.

I ran 7 times that night. The first five the 60' was 2.0x

I know everyone says not to do a burnout on street tires but I did a burnout on the last two runs and got a 1.9x then a 1.85 60'.

WS6SP33D

i always do a small burnout just to heat up the tires and get all the shit thats on them off
