Fueling & Injection - Is there such a thing as a low pressure intank pump

I am thinking about doing a 2 pump in tank setup with a twist. I would like to use 1 for my fuel injection (high pressure) and 1 for nitrous (low pressure).

Thanks,
Rick

the tbi camaros and trucks had a low pressure in tank typically 13 psi

I'd like to add one to push fuel back into the bucket. Has anyone done that?

Is there any aftermarket pumps that have that extra output like the stock pump?
I need a replcement pump, but really hate to loose the bucket design.

I was thinking of adding a tiny 24v pump run at 12 just to fill the bucket, or something similar. Maybe a tiny external pump?

To the original post, 2 pumps would be possible, but plumbing gets complicated for 2 complete systems back to the tank. A front stand alone may be better. You can also tee off the front supply line to the nitrous with a deadhead style (non-return) regulator, dropping pressure to the needed value without running 2 complete systems.

Jason,
Good replacement pumps have the venturi setup, no need to invent something that is not needed. I can check, but I believe they even work at low pressure in the camaro. Feel free to call me if you are interested in a system for your car.

Lonnie, thanks to your explanation of how the venturi system works, I found the Racetronics F99 pump that has that extra output. Is that the pump a lot of folks are using?

I just installed the racetronix "FPM-001 - Fuel Pump Module, 99-02 GM F-Body, Complete". All new bucket, pump, sock, float, etc. Works great.

One of those with a Racetronix pump would suit your needs very nicely !
