Default 5.3 l w/ z06 cam question

Hi, i dont know if this is the correct spot to post this but i havr a 2004 gmc sierra / 5.3 and want to put the 02-04 corvette z06 cam in it. my question is what length pushrods to get? what valve springs are needed? anything i am forgetting? thanks for any help!!

use ls6 springs for $60,get a adjustable push rod checker for getting the correct length.look at compcam 54-455-11 ,will make more power then the z06 cam.

how involved is it to deturmine the correct legnth? if i called comp cams would they know ya think of all the parts needed to get it done? i really dont want to go crazy just heard it was a bolt in and go kinda thing.

i believe they used 7.4 pushrods from the factory on those motors but with ls1 style lifters so it probably will depend on the lifters in your motor whether you need to go longer or shorter.

I have an 04 5.3L with an 04 Z06 cam. after all of the measuring, it took stock length push rods. Did it on an 01 6.0 and a 2000 5.3L and they both wound up being stock length push rods.

I hear that 290 hp at the rear wheels is about the norm with this cam.

you should be around 360-370 hp.
