This is a copy and paste from my 11sec run. The only thing I changed are...a Racetronix 255 pump, 10 point chrome moly cage, more weight reduction, and adjusted rear shock settings, from my previous best was a 11.12@123 pass. It was a cool day, dont know what the DA was,but it was low. This is only the second time to the track with the car,and it has an untouched 130,000 mile short block. The best mph of the day was 127.01,it never went slower than a 10.80 something. Sorry for the pic of the time slip,my camera didnt want to take a clear pic. I was foot braking the car leaving at 3,000 rpm every launch. Not sure what it weights anymore, scale at the track wasnt on that day. I still drive it on the street, all lights etc. work. Just trying to get it down on weight. Going to take more weight out again, and install a Nitro Dave plate on it. Im going for 9's at this point with stock motor. Maybe I should install an engine diaper also lol.

2000 Firebird Formula with 130,xxx miles on short block. PRC 1.0 heads,MS4,FAST 102/102,42LB injectors, Ported LS6 oil pump, Speed density tune from Mikey at Rapid Motorsports, E-bay 1 3/4 headers, 3 inch exhaust with Bullets no X or crossover,no room because I have a chassis mounted TQ arm. This short block is untouched with 130,000 miles on it and nothing done to it other than the above mods. TH400 with Redneck Performance 3500 stall lol, Burkhart braced 9inch rear, anti roll bar option, with only 3.70's in it. All tubular suspension from Spohn, strange single adjustables all around, stock rear coils, with rubber isolators taken out. Aero space brakes on all four corners, A/C and heat taken out. Rear tires are Hoosier QTP 28x13.50's.

Real similar to my setup (RapTr cam goes in next week). Wonder what your weight with driver in-car is?

I just want to tickle the 10's so you are doing real good.

Never been to Rapid but can you PM me about how much it is for a SD tune? I will need a retune with the new cam so why not!

Pm'ed ya...Give Mikey a call. It was 422 H/P 369 Tq...on a Dynojet SAE. I want to weigh it again. I just added a 10 point chrome moly cage. Before the cage I was at 3230# with me in the car at Cecil County's scale. But since I added the cage I took out the radio, rear speakers, steering wheel/ air bag, power antenna. The scale was off when I went so I didnt weigh it after the cage. Im ordering a Burkhart front bumper support and taking out the door bars over the winter.

These stock shortys are awesome. Mine is still kicking with 100,740 on the clock. Ive rode it hard all the way but take good care of her. Dont spray it just keep plugging still she lets go.

Wow good times there. I bet if I put some 4.10's in it like you have I would pick up et. My car dont 60ft. The best was the 1.51. The rest were from 1.53 to 1.58's I think the 3.70's with the 28 inch tire have alot to do with it.

Yea, put some gear in that thing! With that big of a tire, it's killing that 3.70.

I know,I was going to do a front mount turbo thats why it only has the 3.70's.

Nice! You have the power to do it...What does it weigh? Who did you get to tune it?
