Default How to remove dealer stickers?

Each letter is a separate decal. Seems impossible to remove by any conventional means. Anybody know a good product to assist? Should I just rip the rear bumper off and smash it with a sledgehammer until I no longer notice it? Please help.

I second that... If you really want your car to shine, claybar the whole thing, then use a glaze (I like 3M), followed with the wax.

I had the grandsport stripes on my vette, and when they cracked up because of the sun, I used a hair dryer to peel them off. A lot of the residue and glue was left, a silcone base spray took the rest of it off, took me about an hour or so to do it, real PITA, but I didn't have a buffer so that was my only way out. After that I just washed the car, couldn't even tell there had been a decal there.

Nah... Just follow the instructions already given. Those should take care of it.

Use 3M Adhesive Remover. Stuff works with all kinds of adhesive and won't hurt the paint. Should be available at any auto parts store.

I second that the 3M stuff works good, it will strip the wax though.

So will a claybar... that's why I say it's a good excuse for him to just go ahead and do a full detailing on the car...

Thanks for the suggestions. I looked for a claybar at Napa and Pep Boys but they didn't seem to have any. Is it something you have to order online? They did have the 3m suff though, so if I can't find a claybar I'll try that.

The claybar is a mothers product. Pep Boys, Auto Zone, Advanced, etc... will have it. I work at A&A Auto Parts, which is a Keystone Auto Parts store. I use the clay bar for the ease of use. 3M stuff is the way to go, but for a little spot, the claybar will work just fine.
