12 Second Club - 40 degree weather = 12.91 at 108!

It was in the 40s tonight at Richmond Dragway and that was enough to get me 2 12 second passes, one a 12.91 and the other a 12.94 both at 108 mph.

Car is a 2002 Z28, full weight, street tires, A4, 2.73s, only mods being a lid, cutout, and catback. Not bad for a nearly stock daily driven 8 year old car. :)

Congrats on the new best , Latch !! We talked in the staging lanes tonight about cams and good street set-ups . I had the Dk.Blue Metallic SS that was right behind you when we were waiting for the track to get cleaned up. :)

Ended up with a 11.52 / 117.62 1.58 60ft" . Not bad ,but I couldn't hook for nothing ,Latch. Even though the temps were low, the track was slick for me . I spun off the line every pass.

I'm glad your ride was running damn good last night ,man. Just remember ,pick your mods wisely. :)

That is Richmond dragway for you on a friday night streetnight. They never prep the track unless they have gunslingers. Now Saturday races are different.

i work at atco raceway we spray to the 1/8th every day but its more of whats running like if street came out right after super pro you wouldnt slip at all but once the track cools down and if theres any moisture in the air your gonna spin if its a dry cold tho you have a hope of hooking up
