Default Help me pick a cam for my Silverado

I replaced the 4.8 with a 6.0 last spring. I installed LS3 heads with the L92 truck intake. The cam is a 03 zo6 cam.

I was looking into the Thunder Racing cheatr cam v3 219/230 .607/.604 on a117 LSA. I will be staying with the stock manifolds to keep it quiet as I daily drive it and use it for grouse hunting out in the woods and towing my Sea Doo. I never plan on taking it to the dragstrip. The tranny is a 4L65.

Does anybody have any other suggestions? Remember stock manifolds. I might get high flowing cats with a bigger pipe diameter off the manifolds to the muffler.

It looks like a good choice to me. A converter upgrade should go with it, to help it work better/drive nicer.

a 224r cam would be snappy in 6.0 especially with a little compression and will be easier on springs than a cheater would be.

A narrower LSA would work better(+torque, lower power band).

Those l92's are really gonna be choked up trying to push the exhaust out of those stock manifolds.

The cam will most likely help tremendously, but you'll definately be leaving some power on the table without headers, more so than on a standard cathedral port head
