Default Have you ever heard a raspy, catted ls1?

Everyone says ls1 cars get raspy with long tubes, but the only ones I have heard that have rasp are the ones with no cats.

ls1-long tubes-cats still in place-mandrel bent exhaust-flowmaster

picks up a rasp around 3500ish, dies off at 4000ish under 1/4-1/2 throttle..

under full throttle there isn't a rasp though.

LS1---Pacesetter LTs---no cats---Flowmaster

^Agreed. I haven't noticed a rasp with mine, except for when I let off after revving it at idle. The only comments I've heard from others about my car is "Man...that thing sounds good!" When I had the V6 I definitely noticed rasp, but not once I got those two extra cylindas!
