Well this guy that lives right near me owns a very nice Fox body stanger. One day durring rush hour he pulls right next to me at a light (rolling his window down and reving the 5.0 rumble w/cam at me). He says to me "nice car", and the nice guy that I am, I say the same. He asks me what have I done to my car, and I tell him its all stock! Then he smiles and says I bet I can take you from a dead stop. I just looked at him and smiled back (mad as hell). I wanted to race him but there was to much traffic and 3 cars in fornt of me at the time (really hate when that happens). Then the stanger drove off.
One night as I was coming back from the girl friends house, Im setting at a light waiting for it to turn green. Then a car pulls next to me, and guess who? The stanger dude! With no cars in front of us, I rev my un-stock Z right back. light turns green (little nerves), little wheel spin in first, hook like a champ in second, take a peak at the stang he hes already 3 cars behind and I havent hit 45mph yet. I said to myself, "that was way to easy". Then I look down and noticed that I left my Nos switch on! lol...at the end of the race he was a good 8 cars behind!
The best part about this race was the look on his face when I passed him. His jaw dropped throught the floor!
