hey people,
im the new guy so go easy on me.

i own a Holden VY SS ute, LS1 with 6 speed manual. done abit of work on her.
372RWHP
225 Comp cam, Comp cam valves/springs, ally OTR, K&N filter, custom Maffles tune, Difilippo stainless 1 3/4 to 3inch outlet, Difilippo stainless twin 3inch system, GM Motorsport Ripshift, Textralia Z grip single plate clutch. thats all i have so far with power mods. many more to come, hence why i joined here.

Welcome. I was in Adelaide a 2 years ago and whenever I saw a ute go by (usually with aftermarket exhaust) I would smile at the backhome sound of the ls engine.

That's a sharp UTE you have there, and it's got some muscle to back up the looks. I have a Holden too, a Pontiac G8, and it's the best car I've ever had.

Very nice!

Love that OTR CAI... I have something similar to that, theres a guy in the states that has been making some out of fiber glass for the GTO/Monaro guys.

abit of an update people.

my car is on the shop getting a 383ci Callies forged stroker kit with SRP forged pistons. then a Harrop HTV2300 is being bolted on after the motor work.

heres a sneak peak

only one week away.
tuner told be should be ready next friday!!
also the original cam that was in the car when i bought wasnt even a Comp cam 224...
tuner pulled it out and had a look at it and told me its an VCM3 which is 228/238/112 cam
told me will be mega lumpy once he works his magic with the tune.

i cant wait!!!!

That thing is Awesome. Chevy needs to bring back the El Camino SS !!!!
side note: Wife and I spent our honeymoon (holiday) in Townsville back in
June of 2001. Had so much fun checkin' out Maggie Island.....No Worries
