Stearing shaft wobbles

Stearing shaft wobbles Any body have this problem??
Where the steering shaft comes through the fire wall into the engine bay there is a plastic sprocket that fits up in side a metal housing that keeps the shaft from clunking against the headers and fender. Mine keeps coming out and it sounds like a have a couple monkeys with hammers under my hood!
Is the a simple fix or do you have to buy a new one?
