Single Digit Club - In the 9s!!!!

I recently went back to the track after a couple of weekends of running low 10s with horrible 60' times. I took some advice from StangKilr on getting my suspension dialed in and netted my personal best 60' and ET. I launched to a 1.4 60', and netted a 9.8@130 et.

wow nice time, what is your setup? and did you let out seems like your mph is a tad low?

It's a D1SC Procharged 408, TH400, Strange 12 bolt w/3.73s, and 325 MT ET Streets. I thought the mph was low as well, but I ran back to back passes almost identical. The car has trapped 139, but it was only a 10.7 et. I attributed the low mph to the decent 60'. Any input appreciated.

Congrats. A 408/D1SC is a bad ass setup.

When the car starts hooking real good 60' it will kill mph a little bit. But e.t. very well. I learned that this year.

What size converter?

It's supposed to be 4k. I'm happy with it, just confused on the loss of trap speed. I just put my 3.4 pulley on yesterday, and going to the MIR track rental Saturday. I'm curious to see what happens.

Finally found my slips from the MIR rental. New pb on the last pass of the year. Blower belt was slipping on the big end of every run, guess it's time for a cog setup, or a different tensioner.
