2000 Trans Am Ws6 Headers (Ls1)
i have a 2000 trans am ws6 and i would like to put headers on it. i have a corsa catback exhaust on it right now that i dont want to change and i want to keep my cats so what kind of headers should i do? i also need a y pipe what do u guys reccomend?

I had the corsa catback on my 2000 T/A with 3.5 tips. Give a price range!
I would suggest KOOKS headers and catted Y-pipe, they tapper the end of the Y pipe but you have to cut it off anyways because the longer mid pipe that comes with the corsa.
I would not do an ORY because the corsa will sound like crap esp on deceleration - after i bought a catted Y pipe it really cleaned up the sound!

i bought some used kooks with the new style collectors and catted y for 700 locally. i would rather get a quality used piece than a new piece o crap any day. check the classified section here or craigslist ebay

Going against the grain but I have kooks with their ORY and corsa catback and I think it sounds monstrous. Exhaust notes are like girlfriends though, everyone has their own likes and dislikes in them. Either way you can't go wrong bc they are quality companies.
