Default racing stripes on red car with tan top

I have a red 99 SS with tan top. Thinking about stripes. If anyone has pictures or opinions spit em out. Also, how far in front and back do you bring them? I use the billet grille in front. CME in rear. tonneaus solid or striped. Gold is the obvious color. Any others?

I would skip the stripes. But if you are doing them, they MUST be gold with that combo.

interior is tan with the usual black dash n console. With the tonneaus on it just has alot of RED. The car can backup the racing stripes it's a 408 w/500rwhp and insurance button. It has some lump. I'm basically getting tired of color after owning since 99

I don't think the stripes are a good idea either but after 11 years of ownership and you feel like a change, go for it.
