Default Whos running PRC stage 1 243s and eps grind?

Think about this setup. Kinda a budget here, but maybe work out well. Car on the cam only setup run a 11.40@120. hoping to break the 10sec. mark with the new heads and cam.

Is your current cam an EPS grind? I would say with that setup, you should be close to 450 rwhp.

Your mph is pretty impressive for a cam only f-body.. Seems like the current set-up is working well.. Why not just add some heads & see what she does? Also, what intake set-up are you running?

Why not keep the cam you have, and get a good set of heads to go with the stall and cam you have already? Also what intake do you have.

Its a patrick G speck cam. which is one in the same as geoff. But when i change heads i want to get the most out of it. The eps lobes seems to more valvetrain freindly and make crazy power with less lift! I don't have any specific cam picked yet thats EPS job depending on the setup. Car has LS6 intake

Fiqured you say that!! Talked to Geoff from EPS little while ago. Might try a stock set of 243 with little bowl work and VJ slight milling no cnc porting and one of there cams. I just dont have the $$ for the TFS right now and got to rebuild my shortblock. Going to try to get in the 10's on a budget. Anyone know someone to do quailty port work on LS1 heads. But all i need is bowl, and valve job work no grinding of ports.

I don't see you hitting 450rwhp with an m6 either. Honestly I think your gonna be around 400-410rwhp with an a4.

that's an even better idea...stock 243s with a little work will make excellent power...

Yeah Geoff laid some knowledge on me! He also said trickflows if $$ was possible. But he offered the above idea and im all for that. The el torro on my car no EWP, no pulley, and 853 heads made 386RWHP. Im hoping to be over 400RWHP with worked 243, eps and adding pulley.

easily over 400...i bet you would be over 400 with stock untouched 243s...let alone milled and given a nice valve job...good luck man, glad you got good advise...

This winter I want to put on a set of AI Stg 1 243 and EPS 234/246 111 cam. I think it will be a great combo w/ my 3.73 and PT4000 converter.

Currently running Cam only G5x2.

Wouldn't there be more gains saving money from the new cam and just getting better heads? Like everyone said, your current cam is working good.

that's an impressive time for cam only. I agree with other people int he fact that if the cam works (which obviously it does) then just get some heads. Slightly worked 243s would be awesome and depending on the lift of your cam as it is switching to a different one you might not even see much gain if any. Unless your plans were to change into a 240s+ duration cam. However though, bigger isn't always better. At any rate, Geoff is the man.

what are all you people talking about a cam swap out is like 75 bucks at most...why wouldn't he want to switch it if he can...

new cam $355 custom grind speed inc even has a special now

sell old cam for $275ish...

**** I would spend 100 for 3 hp...look at the cost of big dollar heads...TFS, AFR etc 2300 for 50hp that is less than 2.5hp per 100 dollars...

so why not swap the cam if he wants a more radical setup...i mean even if it is only bumping the hp 5 it is worth it..
