With a loudmouth its a toss up to your tastes...most say it gets annoying iwth no cats so you might want to consider flp's since they come with cats as well as cat delete pipes if you dont have a chance to hear anyones LM with no cats...personally if your going with headers id shy away from the LM but thats me

I read up and this looks like one of the best systems to get...however $1300 is alot but I think its worth it

Forget the loudmouth, man. Shop it against true duals dumped before the axle. Get pacesetter LT's in order to save money and that should make up the price differance. Remember that with true duals you don't need to buy a y-pipe...

Pacesetters: $300
True Duals dumped: $450
subtotal: $750

pacesetters can be found at TSP and the FLP's can be found a TR.

just take the time out and do your research man, it goes along way. cruise through the sponsors.

Another vote for QTP's. Great headers, awesome quality. You can get optional high velocity merge collectors (which I regret NOT getting ) and I'd say screw the ORY and LM and go for a true duals like Black Knight said.

I vote for FLP's, easy to swap out to cats when ever needed for emissions....

good quality....except for the clamp setup....be prepared to break a few.....other than that, I think they are some of the best around....

Exactly like the hookers huh, where can you buy these flow techs at because that sounds like a damn good price.

I just bought me a set from Tom at LS1 Speed Inc (site sponsor). I ordered coated 01-02 headers and a uncoated y pipe for 509 dollars shipped.

He had a group purchase on them with free shipping, which ended yesterday when I bought them. I think the price is still the same, but he's not offerering free shipping. Flowtech is sister company to hooker, and they are supposed to be exactly like the hooker.

Here is the link to the group purchaseFlowtech group purchase

Here is a pic of the flowtechs. Tony (nineball) took the pic at sema

Get the Eldebrocks, Pacesetters, or the above. All are in the same price range. Have a custom Y pipe made, with dual electronic cutouts, and leave your stock mufler on there. Loud when you want, and not when you dont.

here is what i would do it i had about $700 to spend on the exhaust and not have to worry about emissions

forget the loudmouth
buy the cheaper headers (Flowtech or Pacesetter)
and do an x-pipe true dual setup

Actually that is exactly what I am doing
