Dyno Guesses & Bench Racing Forum - Horsepower difference?

When you switch from auto to manual does anyone know by dyno numbers, how much hp you gain? I.E Right now im @ 324-a4, t56 going in next week what kind of #'s should it be? Just trying to get an idea before cam install, thanks

Depends on many factors.

If I had to throw a ball park guess out there, I'd say about a 7-9% gain.

Thanks i was thinking 7%, I just need to be close to compare gains from cam

I always heard Auto is around 20% loss and manual 15%. So I would say 5%. No way to truely tell unless you do a dyno swap it and dyno again. same weather same day.
