Converted to dry sump, Engine won't idle.
Interesting problem. Just converted my M6 427 LS2 from a wet sump set-up, with PCV etc, to a dry sump with no PCV. No changes to the tune.
The car will not hold an idle since the conversion.
I'm presuming its because the volume of air introduced by the PCV/crankcase setup, is no longer being fed into the intake. I have the HP Tuners tune that came with the car as well as tuning cable software.
The valve covers and valley covers are plumbed to a vented catch tank and the dry sump oil tank is in the trunk and is also vented.
Any suggestions for what to change?
Thanks,
John.
