Default Rocker Education: Differance between 1.7 or 1.8 Adjustible or non ???

I am clueless when it comes to this. I bought a forged Nitrous motor and plan on having a set of 317 heads built for the motor. Purchased some Patriot Golds and now looking at rockers. I have no idea what I would want nor do I know the differance. I want to just have all the parts, give them to the machine shop and say "Have at it" HAHA

Stock 1.7s are some of the lightest and best. You can change trunions for more durability.
1.8s are not recommended with fast ramps.

like he said 1.7 is stock and they are very good rockers to use. roller rockers are said to be better because it rolls on the valve stem instead of gliding and will reduce friction and heat. upgrading the rocker ratio from a 1.7-1.8 rocker is recommended for guys who want a certain lift without changing the duration of the camshaft. getting adjustable rockers i've always felt more comfortable with setting preload and stuff like that. i have a set of prw shaft mounted adjustable roller rockers 1.7 ratio on my car and i love them
