Default Low Trac light with no TCS?

I recently had a Low Trac light pop up. My 1998 T/A does not have TCS. I have never seen this light pop up before. I don't even see it when I am doing big smoky burnouts. Is this normal?

Wierd. You'd think the light would come on during a two minute burnout before it would come in a little snow.

The light comes on when you get into the ABS on non-TCS cars.

Also in my friend's 6 speed (non-TCS) it would come on during a hard downshift.

Thanks for the information.

I wasn't touching the brake though.
