Thats strong....

Add a properly ported FAST after the wallet heals up for 470's and 430's torque! (not to mention alot more throttle response and "tip in" power)

Good numbers for a user friendly relatively docile cam!

Look forward to seeing the power curve....

the shop is supposed to be emailing me the dyno sheet today or tomorrow

it runs like a champ!!

even the tuner shook my hand and said congrats to me abut the power he wasn't expecting it either

now my question to you tony am i better off with a fast 90 or 92 or the new 102 unported versions vs ported versions...

the 90 and 92's are getting harder to come by...

PM me your phone number and I will try to ring you tomorrow...

I have a brand new 90 in my possession I might be willing to part with. The nice thing with that is its a direct bolt on piece....accepts all your factory hardware.

I really think Comp dropped the ball not also keeping the 90/92 platform available for sale to those wanting to save money and retain all their OEM fuel rails, beauty covers, etc.

The 102 is great but its big money for only a few more HP if your comparing ported to ported.

Anyway....I can better discuss your options on the phone so you can make an informed decision

No...anything in my hands is getting ported....LOL (and unfortunately I missed an engine dyno opportunity do to so a couple of months ago because we ran out of time)

Just second hand info and the results of course of the engines I build and the customers I help (but sometimes thats mixed with other go fast goodies). One look at before and after will tell you all you need to know....see this thread for some pics and more info.

If you need anything else PM me so we dont hijack the OP's dyno results thread which were obviously pretty stout without the addition of a FAST.

Exactly what I don't like about most Dyno equipped shops, why have a Dyno with no Wideband reading? Good numbers for sure for that setup and I'm positive they are accurate after many 224 and 228 cam swaps. Thing is, how do you know you aren't wringing out every last drop of power by being overly lean? You could lose 5-10 hp but have an engine that lasts 10x longer due to safer A/F ratio.

i have the one with afr but i was asked politly by the tuner not to post it so that the tune is less easly copied and we are still working on the tune to try to pull more power

Hard to tell if there is more in it or not. There is certainly more in the 5400 to 6200 were it flattens. Based on that I would guess there is a bit more up top as well. Need more tune details to tell really, I spent many days tuning my AFR head & similar cam. It can be done with small cams. :engarde:

Very strong were you are at, so fun to drive!

My very first dyno experience with my C5 describe in my signature was on a Mustang dyno owned & operated by a very Ford friendly dude. He was very accommodating all though very Blue Oval, not HPT experienced, more SCT. As we were slowly increasing the max RPM as we were mapping the MAF his comment was "I expect we will see peak power around 5700rpm" :rotflmao: In the end we spun it to 7000rpm were it had flattened at around 6400 rpm.
Mr. Blue Oval was very impressed with 346 by the end of that session commenting about how my package was making more power that the Fords with there SC's........thougt I would share my story!:D

Follows Tony's advise with the Fast setup, I'm sure the gains will be impressive....be prepared for a re tune though major airflow increase.

i see what your saying about the 5400 to 6200 area.. its after torque peak so maybe there's more timing that can be added to help it not go shallow

I'd bring the car down to England Green or Gforce in Houston to get a true street/dyno tune with a wideband. Neither of their dyno's are big HP dynos and neither shop will mess with your numbers. Like others have said, I'd want to know the A/F for sure.

Eitherway, looks like a strong car with the smaller cam. I'd add a high 230 to a low 240 cam in it and you should pick up a few HP.
