Default Easiest way to turn motor over??

was going to adjust my lifter preload and wanted to know what the easiest way to turn the motor was.

I would say put it in neutral and get a rachet and socket to fit the crank pulley bolt, and then a long extension you can run to the top of the motor and do it that way

I know on my LT1 I just hit the alternator pulley bolt, pressed on the belt with my other hand and I was able to turn it over.. just unsure on the ls1. Im not sure if Ill have an extention that is long enough from the crank bolt but maybe I can reach down there. thanks !

Pull the plugs out, that will make it a lot easier.

Pull the plugs and put a socket and rachet on the crank bolt. A lot of old school guys used a remote starter switch from the starter and bump the motor over a little at a time. Either way will work.
