generally around $650ish.. I've seen them as low as $500 though.. condition wise I would check for any cracks, and the area where the map sensor plugs into. You'd have to take it apart to inspect the rubber seals.

^ yeah really.. And the 102 is too big for an LS1. Unless you bolt on a 92mm TB on it. (what I was thinking of doing)

I paid $500 for my used fast years ago, I sure as hell wouldn't pay more for it now.

Port it yourself...if you don't have a dremel they are under $50, just use sandpaper rolls and be easy with it.

Sand it lightly by hand afterwards.

remember if you get the 102, you will need to also factor in the cost of new fuel rails as well guys.

I picked up a vengance ported 92 for like 700 early this year. If you are patient, you should be able to find a good deal

The Fast 90/92 is PnP with LS6 fuel rails and injectors, the Fast 102 is PnP with LS2 rails and injectors. Either intake will work but may require spacers. The Fast 102 can be had brand new for $799 from several sources. Unless Tony Mamo ported the 90/92, I don't understand people asking $700 for them. The "too big" thing is a myth.

yes anyone with a dremel can port an intake.........

BUT there is no way w/o experience can you port one as well as jermeyF,tony mamo, brian tooley, corry harris,etc.....

i have seen people lose power from trying to port them selfs and with a 800$ intake why risk it?

Not claiming I can do what the experts do. But considering my dyno numbers and track times both support a really nice gain from the ls1 before the tune for it and even with a cam that handicaps for poor intake flow I'd say I didn't hurt it any.

Just don't go crazy and do your research and most people can do a decent job for the common cam only or head/cam build. Once you look at one it's pretty obvious where some work can be done...and obviously, I understand people like Tony reshape the ENTIRE runners, not the just obvious parts and that's why he gets great results and has a price that matches that amount of quality work.

Everyone on this site is scared to death of porting. People say the same thing about porting throttle bodies...you would have to be clueless to ruin one. As long as it took to remove significant material from those with die grinders, I'd say you would have to try to mess one up with a puny dremel tool.

102 being too big for a stock cube ls1 was shown to be false months and months ago..

You will pick up less HP but more tq with a 102 than a 90 or 92.. at least from the majority of swaps I have seen, including mine. The runners were changed, I am sure that is the reason.

so your saying the 90 or 92 will net more hp and less torque but the 102 will net less hp and more tq? i'm alittle confused by your post

From my peronal experience wih both and the majority of results I have seen, that seems to be he case.
With them changing he runners, it makes sense to me.

We are only talking a few rwhp and rwtq but it makes a difference in how the setup runs overall. i wil take tq over HP anyday.
The 102 replaced the 90 and 92 if that tells you anything.
