Paint & Body Work - New paint on the gobin.

hey guys, im getting ready to paint my TA the factory Bright Green Metallic, but im looking to do a couple of things differently and would like a little input. first i'm looking to paint the bumper satin black around the exhaust cutouts, has anyone seen this done on a green TA before? also i would like the black to keep as much of the satin look that it can so is there a way to paint it black and not clear it? Thanks for any input!

You're talkin about the "CETA" mod. Guys do it on all colors. The right way to do it is to paint that area black and add a satin agent to the clear coat and spray JUST that area with that batch of clear. Leaving paint uncleared is a bad idea.
