Default New here, 07 GXP in MO

Sup everyone, just bought an 07 GP GXP for my wife and wanted to pop in to say hello. Seems to be a lot of good info on this board, looking forward to lots of fun V8 FWD miles lol. Here's one of the only pics I have so far:

I've actually already added tints all around (35% front, 20% rear) and HID's from DDM Tuning. I'm planning on definitely getting a tune, intake, and exhaust but it has an aftermarket warranty that I don't want to jeapordize...just yet

Welcome!
A tune will most likely kill that warranty - if they see it in the PCM...
But sounds like fun anyways, Whats done to that little 1.8t to make it run 14.1 @ 98?

Thank you! Well the warranty is an aftermarket one so I can take the car to any "ASE Certified" shop to have repairs done, and I plan on actually buying a spare pcm/tcm to do the tune, so hopefully that will help.

My 1.8T has a Tune, Intake, 3" Turbo-back exhaust, upgraded side-mount intercooler, and upgraded Turbo-inlet pipe, so nothing too drastic. Side by side, I was able to smoke my wife driving the GXP haha. Here's a pic of the GLI:

Thanks! Actually in my case I have Unitronic Stage 2, but both give roughly the same power gains.

Here's a pic from sometime last year with the stock rims (yes I know they look better but they were heavy and bent lol). It's a Kamei Sport badgeless grille, and I basically zip-tied the GLI emblem to it but you can't tell unless you literally take the grille off the car

Yeah those are basically just referred to as "eyebrows" and quite a few companies make them. Here's one:
