Default Guys Running regular Y's no coating..

Do you wish you went stainless?? or coated for that matter??

Im getting Stainless Headers soo just wanted some feedback.. money gets a bit tight when you opt for a stainless Y..

Mabey some of you have a alternative Stainless Y for hooker then hooker that match well???

Unless you're worried about everything looking pretty, coated/stainless exhaust behind the headers seems like a waste of money. Regular mild steel is still going to last a long, long time.

Depends on where you live I think.

I have 4 year old uncoated pacesetter headers and ory, theres not a speck of rust anywhere on the collector or y.

Same with my Z28, 2 years no rust on the Edelbrock ory.

As long as they're aluminized, I have some bare steel pipe under my truck that looks pretty bad.

My uncoated ORY looks fine, though I don't daily drive the car so it never sees rain or salt.

It doesn't matter to me, but my car is a garage queen.

just get one with a good merge and put a cutout in it. the exhaust design on these cars looks like an afterthought as it is, no sense in throwing good money after bad...
