I am helping my brother sell his 1998 1LE Z28 Camaro 6 speed manual. He recently had a kid and this just isn't practical for him to keep anymore and could use the cash. It has an original 45K miles and in excellent shape. Its Navy blue metallic and a true 1LE car, so its a hardtop stripper car perfect for lightweight racing. It has manual windows, manual locks, no truck pop (only by key) or fog lights, cloth interior. Here is a brief mod list to the car:
- SLP lid with K&N filter
- Pro 5.0 shifter
- LS6 intake manifold
- ported 5.3 heads
- comp cams 224/228 cam with matching valvesprings
- Virginia speed tune
- new timing chain and oil pump
- underdrive crank pulley
- pacesetter 1&3/4" long tube headers
- custom catted Ypipe
- Hooker catback with dual outlet tips
- superior axles
- thunder racing diff cover
- subframe connectors
- aftermarket panhard rod and LCAs
- lowering springs
- edelbrock strut tie bar
- pioneer CD head unit and amplifier
- mtx component speakers at all 4 corners
- mtx subwoofer in custom enclosure
The car has been well maintained, all fluids changed regularly, new tires less the 7k ago, never abused, mechanic owned. The only issue is there is a small exhaust leak that ticks and one of the hangers is broken. It was dyno tuned to 410rwhp and 390rwtq. There is a set of brand new in the box comp roller rocker trunions, MSD plug wires, and a fresh set of plugs that are waiting to be installed. He is sacrificing for a quick sale for $7,500 firm priced to move asap, these cars with this low of mileage go for a lot more! I'd buy the car if I didn't just buy a house.
