Thumbs up Not new but new to LS1's .... LOL

Hey everyone! Not new to the racing scene by any means. I'm a moderator over on the Corral (mustang website) and have been there since the site first started 15+ years ago. I also manage/run Easternfbodys.com website (previously easternfbody.com) oh and am co-owner of Racersden.net ... and a few other car sites.....

More recently I had a really sweet '03 Whipple Terminator and 10 second '99 (nitrous car) that I had to sell due to a nasty divorce and getting back in the game

I've been on LS1Tech since the site started (I think?) and also have a pretty large group of friends in the Md area already... Go GBR Racing!

So I recently purchased a really nice '00 Camaro with aftermarket heads, built trans, 12 bolt, Moser 33 spline axles, el torro cam, fast intake, and a bunch of suspension mods. The car runs great and I'm looking forward to hanging out and learning more.

Cheers!
-Tim

hey guy!

I love the stangs too. Going back a few years, I lined up a BEAUTIFUL low km 1989 mustang LX with the trunk. I was going to get it for under 5k. It had a full exhaust and that was it. Beautifully stock.
To boot - I knew the history of the car. I knew the owner well and he babied it. Drove it on Sundays. Top quality fluids and care.

He ended up backing out of the sale because he couldn't part with it.

I then found the 1998 LS1 Trans Am, in a beautiful navy blue metallic paint scheme. I paid three times the amount for the LS1 but was pleased with the purchase.

The funny thing? The second I drove in the drive way with my new ride? A message was on my phone. The guy decided he would sell the stang - even at a slight discount. Loo late though!

Welcome to the site. I'm 9sec347 on Corral. I've had about 28 Mustangs and have owned my 98Z twice and love it. Hopefully I can run a mid 10 on a small kit and be happy.

Right on man, I was a long time modularfords.com poster but due to a car change, decided to join up over here.

Terminator might be in my future someday, but for now, went the practical but fun route with a GXP.

Just recently parted with a 1996 GT with a 4V Mark VIII swap. Cheap fun!
