Default Weird startup and gauge Issue

So Today I was trying to start my car, a 97 Chevrolet Camaro 3.8L V6, and i heard this electrical clicking sound from the glovebox area, the car wouldn't start and neither would the gauge lights. Finally it started after I turned the low beams on and off. After just a few blocks the tach and speedometer were crazy, according the them my engine was revving at 6k+ RPM and I was speeding at 105+mph. Well after reaching the university parking lot I popped open the hood and found the culprit. It seems somehow the lock on the harness connector for the crankshaft position sensor broke disconnecting the sensor from the pcm. After I connected it everything worked fine. No startup problems, no weird alarm sound going off, no gauge problems.

Hope this helps anyone who is having similar problems.
