Looking for a Red 1999 Camaro Z28. I'm in the market for, specifically the following...
1999 Z28. 2000-2002 will also be considered, but no 98s or earlier.
Red
Automatic. No manuals at all, so don't even mention it.
Preferably Tan/Neutral leather, but MUST be leather
Preferably a hardtop. T-tops may be negotiable. No convertibles.
Must be in excellent shape. No peeling/faded paint. No accidents, etc.
Nothing over 100,000 miles either. Normal road wear is ok. A tiny chip here and there isn't a deal breaker.
Distance from car is not an issue, but MUST allow full access to an inspection service including test drive. I may visit it myself afterwards. Also, very likely to require a car transportation service for delivery.
If your car is rusty anywhere, please keep it.
I'm not looking for a lowered car either. These things are low enough as it is.
Bolt on mods are fine, emissions removed is fine, transmission work/stall is fine. Steep rear end gears like 4.10, not fine. 3.23 is likely as high as I'd accept. If you've got extensive engine work, probably not fine, but may consider it so long as we're not talking a huge loping cam, turbos/nitrous/etc.
Everything must work, everything. AC/heat, no sluggish windows, etc. So long as the factory plug isn't sliced up, a radio is not a necessity as I have my own. I'm gonna require a lot of good photos top to bottom, inside and out.
It's very specific, and that's how it is. I'm just putting this out there to see if there are any cars not currently on my list. I do have some prospects around the country already though.
I'm in no rush to buy until I find the right one, in the right shape at the right price. So, if you are in a rush to sell, don't bother.
