If i use Prc 215s and a MS4 will I have to flycut or not ?

i have an ms4 and will be getting those heads. i have been told u dont have to. i sure hope not. i would definately like to hear from someone with that combo and what kind of numbers theyve made also

After just doing mine and some pre-sanity checks... always check with some putty while the heads are off because all heads even of the same casting aren't the same, etc... Now if it was a small cam maybe not.

Milled as much as possible and work without flycutting. I would order whatever gasket would be needed. Thanks

The MS4 with the PRC 215 heads milled .010" will fit without flycutting. We have installed this setup a few times with some pretty good results.

Always measure even if one assures you it will fit.

The internet isn't going to have the magic answer for you.

Measure it, or hire someone who knows how. That setup it too close to assume somebody 2000 miles away from you is going to know the right answer.

That combo actually has better (more) valve drop than your stock cylinder heads did and we have tested them with that cam many times! So yes, we can tell you, so long as the parts are installed correctly, you will have ample piston to valve clearance on that combo
