Default Porting hole in intake 243 head

Hello
I just bought some ported 243 heads. they are ported so much that the bolts from the valve train is sticking a little out of the intake wall.

I found a pic that have the same hole after porting. Is this normal? should I do anything with the hole?

It's normal, run some thread sealant on the bolts.

Very much normal as was mentioned before use thread sealer on the pushrod bolts...you might want to get a shorter set of bolts so that they do not protrude into the intake port which will disturb your air/fuel charge flow.
